Tim Morgan has been in third-party sourcing for 15 years. He began developing his entrepreneurial spirit when he decided to leave the United States and teach English in Japan after graduating from Lake Forest College in 1990. Tim joined LA Gear as a production liaison in 1992 and lived in numerous Asian countries. In his role as production liaison, Tim became exposed to third party manufacturing. In 1995 Tim returned to Cleveland to get his MBA at Weatherhead School of Business Management at Case Western Reserve. While at Weatherhead, Tim took a semester abroad in The Netherlands at the Rotterdam School of Management and began further developing his contacts throughout the world. In 1997 Tim began working for Nike in their equipment division as a product manager. He made numerous trips to Asia to scout out the best factories and to oversee the production of watches and sunglasses. Tim left Nike in 1999 to start up a mid priced sunglass brand for Lifelink Corp in Jackson Wyoming. Tim’s responsibilities covered all aspects of the operation from finding designers and productions facilities to helping create marketing materials. In 2000, Tim left Lifelink to form International Sourcing Group to answer an unmet marketplace need.
